Yamaha India has rolled out the new Yamaha YZF-R1 superbike along with a special edition model baby-R1, the YZF-R15 in India.The new models of the Yamaha bikes were displayed at the Yamaha’s exhibit at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi.The company has introduced a special editionYZF-R15 model in white and red colour scheme for 2010.Apart from this the new YZF-R1 superbike was in the main spot light of the show for its incredible fan-following in India.Along with that it has gathered rave reviews across the globe for its performance and handling.It was ridden onto the stage by Bollywood heartthrob and avid biker, John Abraham.
Highlights of the Polo:- 1.2 litre petrol 75 BHP @5400 rpm and torque 110 Nm @ 3750 rpm.
- 1.2 litre diesel 75 BHP @4200 rpm and torque 180 Nm @2000 rpm.
- 5 Speed Manual Transmission.
- Three variants: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline
