Acer Launches Android phone

One more will enliven the android phone android market in Indonesia. Liquid E produced phone Acer in recent days would be circulated in Indonesia.

Brand Manager Smart Handheld Acer Acer Group Indonesia, Halim said Husen Liquid E be Acer's first android phone. "Our focus this year was the android, and this starts from Liquid E," Halim said on the sidelines of a media preview of BNI 46 building in Jakarta, Thursday (8 / 7).

Liquid E is going to be sold with the bundling of data services from Indosat. Consumers will also get unlimited data service for three months.

Halim explained compared to the other android phones, Liquid has the superior features and prices. "Competitive mobile data has the latest features of the eclair, so called Liquid E," he said.

Eclair feature embedded therein, among others, ease of contact, multimedia, nemoplayer, ufoos and so forth. Halim said earlier Acer Donnut out his cell phone, but without the eclair.

Acer unveils its Dual OS booting network aspire one d250 in India

Acer launched Aspire One D250; the first Netbook in India powered by Dual operating systems Windows and Android. Acer Aspire One D250 has 10.2 inch WSVGA display and powered Intel Atom N270 Duo Processor.
The Acer Aspire One D250 has integrated Intel GMA 950 Dynamic Video Memory Technology 3.0 graphics card, 2 GB RAM, 160GB Hard disk, CrystalEye Webcam. Acer Launches Three New Smartphones in India

Acer has finally arrived in India with three new touchscreens virtually encompassing all price ranges.The new phones launched are the beTouch e101, beTouch e200 and the top-of-the-line neoTouch.

beTouch e101

The beTouch e101 might be the cheapest of the lot but the phone still does pack in a decent punch. Boasting of a 3.2 inch resistive touchscreen and powered by the latest Windows Mobile 6.5.  It boasts with 256MB of RAM and 521MB of internal ROM. A basic 2 megapixel camera without autofocus completes the imaging side of things.The only things to crib about are the lack of Wi-Fi and 3G. However, GPRS (EDGE) and bluetooth do find their way in so it s not all that bad. The beTouch e101 retails at Rs. 11,900.




beTouch e200
Next in line is the slightly higher end beTouch e200. Although it is pricier than the e101, this one actually sports a smaller screen! It has a 3-inch, 240*400, 65k screen and comes with a 3.15 megapixel camera. The e200 comes with both Wi-Fi and 3G both of which were absent in the e101. Apart from these, most other features are same as that of its cheaper cousin. The e200 retails at Rs. 17,900.

neoTouch
NeoTouch is one of the few devices powered by the zippy Snapdragon processor to have arrived in India. The phone runs Windows Mobile 6.5 and has Acer's own custom UI running atop it. The phone boasts of a huge 3.8 inch resistive touchscreen that supports a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The phone is a multimedia powerhouse as well and sports a 3.5mm jack as well. On the imaging front, the 5-megapixel camera should suffice for more than casual photography. The camera comes packed with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging and VGA video recording). The Acer neoTouch can be yours for Rs. 35,000.

Acer New Laptop Takes Interdimensional Leap

Acer on last week announced a notebook with 3-D viewing technology aimed at gamers and entertainment buffs.
The Aspire 5783DG has a 15.6-inch backlit Acer CineCrystal HD display integrated with a TriDef 3-D screen. It comes with 3-D software and glasses.
It also has an integrated multi-in-one media reader and an HDMI port.

At the heart of the notebook is an Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) Core Duo T6600 processor with 2 MB of L2 cache. The notebook also has a Mobile Intel PM45 Express chipset and 4 GB of DDR2 1,066 MHz memory. It incorporates the ATI (Nasdaq: ATYT) Mobility Radeon HD 4570. This has 512 MB of dedicated DDR3 VRAM and up to1,792 MB of shared system memory.

Storage consists of a 320 GB 5,400 RPM SATA hard drive. The Aspire 583DG also has an 8x DVD-Super multi double-layer drive and four USB 2.0 portsFor sound, the notebook has Dolby Home Theater Audio Enhancement and built-in stereo speakers. It provides 5.1-chanel surround output.
The Aspire 5783DG has integrated 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless support and Gigabit Ethernet. It incorporates a built-in Acer Crystal Eye webcam that can capture still photos and video. The notebook has a multi-gesture touchpad.

The notebook comes with 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled. It has a six-cell lithium ion battery and weighs 6.16 pounds. It measures 15.1 by 9.9 by 1.03 inches and uses Acer's Gemstone design.
Three-dimensional capabilities are provided by the TriDef 3-D solution, which consists of the 3-D screen, software and special glasses. The TriDef Media Player lets users play back videos and photos in 3-D, and the TriDef Ignition tool enables 2-D to 3-D conversion for games and applications supporting Microsoft's(Nasdaq: MSFT) DirectX9 and above.
